Simple Ways to Volunteer and Make a Difference
If you have one hour, you could
v Label and stuff envelopes for a mailing
v Answer phones and doors in the office
v Serve as an greeter/usher at a concert
v Help out with a bake sale
v Take photographs at a recital or concert
v Assist with general clerical duties in the office
v Assist with early childhood classes
v Collect used ink cartridges from individuals or businesses for our recycling/fundraising program
If you have two- three hours, you could
v Distribute MCMS posters/flyers to local businesses
v Assist with data entry
v Help out with grounds cleanup and flower planting
v Videotape a concert
v Work on the stage crew for a concert or other event
v Help out on the day or the evening of the annual Share the Music Gala
If you have three or more hours, you could
v Serve on the Share the Music Gala committee
v Solicit donations for our annual silent auction fundraiser
